Animal of the Week: Silver Fox                                                                 10/15/25

What is a silver fox? It's a red fox with a rare coloring. Only 10% of foxes have it. They can live up to 3-7 years in the wild. A silver fox eats things like birds, rabbits, berries, fruits, nuts, and more. With all that, they can grow up to 18 to 33.75 inches long. Silver foxes can also jump up to 6 feet, and can run up to 30 miles per hour. Did you know that foxes are closely related to dogs, then cats? But unlike dogs, foxes can purr.
