Animal of the Week: Dingo 11/5/25
The dingo is a wolf, but looks like a dog. It is believed that they were once domesticated dogs. Dingoes are wild dogs native to Australia, and are surprisingly flexible. The dingo is also an apex predator in the wild because they hunt in packs, and can run 30 miles per hour. In the wild, dingo’s live up to 7-10 years. A fun fact is that they are highly adaptable, and can jump 2 meters high. Their diet consists of kangaroos, wallabies, rabbits, and small rodents. Dingos have flexible wrists and shoulder joints and are way more flexible than an average dog.
